Norway Bound: Part 4
After a good night of rest, we are ready to explore Oslo one more time before catching a bus back to Jonkoping later this afternoon. We needed serious food fortification and our hotel provided a great complimentary breakfast included in our lodging package. It was delicious! Armed - once again with rain jackets, umbrellas and rain ponchos - we set out to the National Gallery to see famous works of art including The Scream by Edvard Munch. It appeared that much of the population of Oslo had the same idea. The line into the museum wrapped around the block...we waited over an hour to enter the museum. Most of the visitors headed up the staircase to see the Munch. We didn't go with the flow; instead we went to the special exhibit of Norwegian artist, Gerhard Munthe.
